kultur | standort.bestimmung vom 21. bis 27. September 2015 in Leipzig ist ein internationaler Kulturkongress und ein Kulturfestival zu Gegenwart und Zukunft urbaner Kulturarbeit. Aus der Freien Szene, für die Freie Szene.
Gemeinsam mit Expert_innen aus Kultur, Verwaltung, Wissenschaft und Politik, angereist aus mehr als 15 europäischen Städten, können wir Herausforderungen, Potentiale und Lösungsansätze diskutieren.
Das große Ziel: Gemeinsam werden konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für die Akteur_innen aus Kultur, Politik und Verwaltung entwickelt, mit denen die Wechselwirkungen von Kultur und Gesellschaft aktiv gestaltet werden können. Die Ergebnisse fließen direkt in die anstehende Fortschreibung der Kulturentwicklungsplanung der Stadt Leipzig ein.
kultur | standort.bestimmung gibt der Freien Szene eine Stimme und ist eine einmalige Gelegenheit, das kulturelle Leben der Stadt mitzugestalten.
Wir organisieren den Rahmen und laden herzlich ein, mitzudenken, mitzureden und mitzumachen. Teilnehmen können alle, die sich für die Freie Szene und ihre Rolle in der Stadt interessieren, die Visionen zur Zukunft des kulturellen Lebens in der Stadt haben und die aktiv an der Zukunft urbaner Kulturarbeit mitarbeiten möchten. Ob Praktiker_in oder Theoretiker_in, ob Künstler_in, Ehrenamtliche_r oder Angestellte_r – jeder kann zur Zukunft der Kultur in Leipzig beitragen!

kultur | standort.bestimmung is a project by the initiative Leipzig + Kultur. For two years now a broad alliance of creatives and artists has been working on the question of how the independent cultural Scene can position itself regarding content and arts in the year 2015, when the city of Leipzig is celebrating the millennial jubilee of its first documentary evidence.
From the beginning on, one thing was evident: It has to be an event that gives impulses for action concerning the cultural work of the upcoming years and at the same time presents the diversity and the merit of the independent scene. We started off by talking to those involved in culture from Leipzig as well as other cities and countries. The conclusion was that a lot of people have very similar questions and aims.
That’s why in September, Leipzig will be the host for an international cultural congress including fora, discussions and workshops. At the same time a cultural festival will take place. The events of the festival will deal with the topics of the congress using the means of arts and aims to show the diversity of the independent cultural scene of Leipzig.
